There are no recalls or safety notices in effect for any Mentra product. Nothing you own needs to be returned, repaired, or stopped.
Report a product safety concern
If something about your Mentra product worries you, tell us. You do not need to be certain that it is a safety issue or know what caused it. If you believe continued use could be unsafe, stop using the product.
Helpful details include:
- What happened, in your own words
- Your order number, if available
- Photos, if there is anything visible
- Whether the product was charging, in use, or stored at the time

Mentra products contain a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Stop using the product and contact us if you notice:
- The frame or battery area becomes uncomfortably hot to wear or hold
- Swelling, bulging, or a change in the frame's shape
- A burning smell or smoke
- The product becomes hot while it is not charging or in use
Charge the product on a hard surface rather than a bed or sofa, and use the supplied cable and adapter.
Never ship a damaged or swollen battery by air. Damaged lithium batteries are not allowed on aircraft. If we ask you to return a product, we will provide packaging and shipping instructions and cover the cost.

Safety reports are reviewed promptly and classified based on the potential hazard.

If there is a credible safety concern, we can hold stock at the warehouse and factory while we investigate.
We report it
When an issue meets a reporting threshold, we notify the relevant authority and work with them on next steps.

When possible, we contact affected customers directly and publish clear instructions on this page.
We provide a remedy
Depending on the issue, that may be a repair, replacement, or refund at no cost to the customer.
